I don’t know about your kids, but mine get soooo excited when we make smoothies! You can pack so many healthy foods into a smoothie (fruit, veggies, seeds, yogurt). These healthy smoothies for kids are great to give your kids for breakfast, or send in fun smoothie pops for lunch. We also love them as after school snacks! The possibilities are endless with smoothies.

Orange Creamsicle Smoothie

This creamy, healthy 5 ingredient smoothie tastes just like an Orange Creamsicle pop in a glass.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana peeled and ripe, frozen
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ c fresh orange juice
  • ¾ c vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 orange peeled, seeded and sliced

Instructions
 

  • On high, blend the frozen banana*, vanilla, and orange juice together until smooth – about 3 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. Add the yogurt and orange. Blend until combined.

Notes

*If using a fresh banana, add 1/2 c of ice and adjust orange juice to 1 c
